KLM Asia nonstop to Taipei


As of March 25 2012, at the start of the summer timetable, KLM Asia will fly nonstop to and from Taipei. KLM Asia is the first European airline to connect Taiwan nonstop with Europe and thanks to this the leading position of KLM Asia in Greater China is further strengthened.

After serving Taipei for over 20 years with an intermediate stop in Bangkok, as of March 25 2012 KLM Asia will fly for the first time nonstop without intermediate stop from Amsterdam to Taipei. The travel time for customers is reduced by 3.5 hours. The Taipei route will be combined with an onwards flight to the destination of Manila, which was previously a nonstop route.
The flights will be served daily with Boeing 777-200 aircraft on the Amsterdam - Taipei-Manila route, with 35 World Business Class seats and 283 Economy Class seats.
KLM routes to Taipei were previously served via a stop in Bangkok. With the direct route, travel time for customers will be reduced by 3.5 hours. As from the start of the new direct flights to Taipei, Bangkok will be served daily with a new schedule and the number of seats to this destination will increase drastically.
