Delta Air Lines starts codeshare with Air Europa

Delta Air Lines and SkyTeam partner Air Europa have commenced codesharing on trans-Atlantic flights between Madrid and New York, as well as on onward connections in the US and Spain.

“The codesharing agreement with Air Europa broadens travel options and increases choice for customers of both airlines” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Delta is delighted to enter into this codeshare agreement with Air Europa.”

Delta’s nonstop service from its gateway at New York’s JFK to Madrid connects to popular beyond destinations including Barcelona, Las Palmas, Mallorca and Vigo. Air Europa offers connecting service on Delta flights to US destinations including Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
