Thalys redesigns fare categories

Following indepth market research carried out during the course of last year, Thalys has decided to reorganise its fare categories in order to better reply to the varying needs of its clients.

The objective of the new fare categories is to offer each customer the solution he needs. Whether it be in Flex, Semi-Flex, or Comfort 1 class, Thalys offers a range of high valued added services. The Semi-Flex Comfort 2 ticket will include access to WiFi and privileged grouping. With the No-Flex fare, Thalys maintains its attractive Comfort 2 fare prices for those who prefer to reserve their tickets in advance.

Comfort 1 class includes optimum ticket flexibility, free broadband, on board catering served at the customer’s seat, taxi reservations and the possibility to reserve a meeting room on board. Semi-Flex Comfort 1 and Comfort 2 tickets combine flexibility, services and price.

The new tarification grid will come into effect on 11 March.
