Aéroports de Paris unveils the first SOUNDCORNER

Aéroports de Paris has partnered with Universal Music and Samsung, to create an innovative new concept in airport entertainment – the SOUNDCORNER – for passengers to relax and listen to music. The first SOUNDCORNER is available, free, at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport’s terminal 2B.

Passengers can relax, in individual alcoves equipped with Samsung Galaxy Tablets, while they listen to a selection of one hundred musical titles on offer. Alternatively, they can plug in their MP3 players to listen to their personal musical choices through their own headphones or through the alcoves’ sound speaker systems.

“Our objective is to offer new, high quality services which reply to the diverse needs of our clients” underlined François Rubichon, Chief Operating Officer, Aéroports de Paris. “We have thus created an installation to offer a unique and agreeable way for travellers to pass their time”.
