Brussels Airlines’ Board of Directors has decided to adapt the airline’s senior management structure.

As from 21 May, Brussels Airlines will connect the European capital with EuroAirport Basle-Mulhouse-Freiburg.

Flying to New York or one of the numerous African destinations on the Brussels Airlines network is to become more comfortable than ever. The airline is investing 30 million euros this year in comfortable flatbed seats in Business Class, generous seating comfort in Economy Class and revolutionary entertainment technology.

Starting 1st June 2012, Brussels Airlines will connect the European capital daily with New York's JFK Airport. With the launch of the service, Brussels Airlines will be bringing Belgian aviation back to the United States after a break of ten years. It is the airline's first own connection to the States since Brussels Airlines started in 2002.

Passengers travelling with Brussels Airlines can now compensate for CO2 emissions linked to their flights, with a small financial contribution. Contributions, which are optional for passengers, will go exclusively towards protecting the environment and supporting internationally recognised and controlled projects for reducing CO2 in Africa.

Travelport, business services provider to the travel industry, and Brussels Airlines have announced a full content agreement for Galileo and Worldspan-connected users worldwide. The new deal, which takes immediate effect, will provide all connected agents with access to the full fares and inventory of Belgium’s national carrier, including its online fares.
