Air France’s Business Class will see more enhancements across its services during 2012. The improvements include the continued equipment of more flights with the new Air France business seat, in flight cuisine redesigned by renowned Chefs and more personalised services on board.

Joel Robuchon now in Air France business class

One year after introducing the new seat in its Business (Affaires) cabins, Air France has called upon the magic of French chefs to offer Business class customers exceptional dishes on long-haul flights departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Over the following six months, Joel Robuchon will serve as the first of Air France’s ambassadors of the art of French gastronomy. 

With 27 Michelin stars, Joel Robuchon is at the head of more than 20 establishments, from gourmet restaurants to gastronomic workshops, featuring innovative concepts in which exquisite food melds easily with a lively and friendly atmosphere. He is an advocate for the ‘sublimely simple’, the spirit of combining product quality with ease of execution.

Aerolíneas Argentinas, one of the leading airlines in South America, has signed reciprocal code-share agreements with both Air France and KLM. The agreements will strengthen traffic flows in the combined route networks and link the carriers’ frequent flyer programmes.

Air France links Eindhoven and Marseille

Air France is now operating three non-stop flights a week between Marseille and Eindhoven. The new services are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 

“On these flights, passengers will benefit from attractive fares while preserving all the services associated with Air France - such as one piece of baggage checked in for free, a selection of newspapers at the boarding gate, a snack and a choice of seat” said Vincent Coste, Regional Manager for Belux at Air France KLM. “Air France is thus preserving the products and services which are its mark of recognition”.
