Abelag wins European Business Aviation Association’s Gold Safety Award
The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) recently presented the 2010 EBAA Flying Safety Awards to five organizations for outstanding safety records. One of the companies awarded was Abelag, the Belgian airline who offers private jet services. Abelag received the EBAA Gold Safety Award for its outstanding safety record. In 40 years, the company has never had an accident.
Abelag launches Try & Fly Jet Card to tempt new private jet users
Abelag, the Belgian private jet airline, has launched a new product to widen its attraction to potential customers. Abelag’s new Try & Fly Jet Card offers the possibility to try out the comfort of a private jet for a relatively low price, without making a long term commitment.
The Try & Fly Jet Card means that 5 hours of flying time can be purchased for 17,000 euros. The new card complements Abelag’s existing Private Jet Card, which gives 25 hours of flying time on the airline’s fleet. Contrary to a scheduled airline ticket, up to four passengers can fly together. Only time in the air is counted, from take off to landing, and not a second more. Once the five hours are used, the client can choose to renew his Try & Fly Card, or opt for another of Abelag’s programmes.
